RDC Club Basketball Program
Patriot Sports Club offers a program that helps kids achieve their dreams of being the best players they can be. It is available year-round and gives young athletes the chance to get a ball in their hands and compete five to seven days a week. We accommodate many kinds of players and encourage kids to play multiple sports so they can have many doors of opportunity.
This program is for dedicated players who want to reach their full potential and eventually compete in high school and beyond. At the same time, we recognize that level will not be in the cards for everyone.
Our club also provides the opportunity for those to dive in and compete at the highest level their God-given talents, and work ethic allow. Although we find a team for most players, we do not guarantee a spot on any of our teams. A player must participate in events and/or try out for our teams.

How We Manage Our Teams
Most teams will have a paid coach. In some situations, a select parent may assist in coaching. We encourage those interested in sports coaching to reach out and discuss volunteering as a coach. Our staff will also entertain referral coaches recommended as paid coaches.
How We Form Our Teams
Teams will be chosen based on skill level and capability to compete in competitive leagues and/or tournaments. We will select teams from players who attend skills/scrimmage events as well as host tryout events. Patriot Sports Club will show loyalty to members who have participated in many sessions for a significant length of time.
Sports Events
Patriot Sports Club offers sports events for different ages, and we encourage parents to get their children involved in as many of them as possible. We believe each player can determine their level of success through hard work and keeping a ball in their hand as much as possible.
We understand that a player may get lessons or work away from the club as well. We try hard to accommodate many different scenarios. Players for teams will be selected based on effort, attitude, potential, and skill level. Our coaching staff will give preference to players with exceptional effort, attitude, event attendance, and membership longevity.

Team Selection and Game Time
Our staff will work hard to accommodate many different scenarios for players. Some players are ahead of their classmates, some are behind, and some may be struggling but have significant potential. Others may only be focused on recreation or have a low, average, or high skill level. No matter the type of player, we will find ways for them to compete in games that match their goals.
We aim to get every player a minimum of four basketball games per month. This may be done through league games, tournaments, or a combination of league games and tournaments. Many teams may have mixed-age player combinations. Therefore, some players may be invited to play with older players. Some players may get the opportunity to be invited to play on multiple teams. Players and parents should let Patriot Sports Club staff know if they prefer league, tournaments, or as many games as possible.

League Teams
League teams are meant for development. Some players and/or teams are not quite ready for competitive tournaments. In that case, joining the league is more suited for those players/teams. Some players from league teams may be invited to a given tournament team based on effort and performance.
Players and parents should let us know what they want. Staff members will discuss options for each individual player. Joining the league may be suited for different players/teams at different times of the year (winter, spring, summer, and fall).

Tournament-Only Teams
Players who compete in a tournament will be selected based on effort, attendance, and skill level. Staff members will discuss options for each player. Some players may play only in tournaments. Some stronger teams will only compete in tournaments. Players who do not play league will play, on average, two tournaments per month. Players who compete in tournaments may be asked to fill in and get extra development time with a league team as well.
The Real Dream Chasers (RDC)
RDC was founded by Ronnie and Alissa Powell with a mission to help youth athletes improve themselves on and off the court. Ronnie and Alissa have been working with youth athletes since they themselves played in college at Missouri Western State University.
Our Mission
Patriot Sports Club enables youth athletes to continue to enjoy the game while improving their abilities through skills practice sessions, workout programs, open gym training, league games, and tournaments.
Group and Individual Programs
Players will be encouraged to participate in group and individual workout programs. As with all Patriot Sports Club teams, players will be encouraged to use the facility free of charge to improve their skills. This will be subject to availability.
